Nestled in the heart of Pioneer Valley, the Chester Community Center is where neighbors and friends gather together for good simple food, new ideas, fellowship and more. Our vibrant, multi-generational facility is open to all. Visit us for educational and spiritual workshops, holistic health activities, live music, dances and storytelling. Or come for a concert, an exercise class, a potluck, or just a cup of coffee at our cozy "Gem Café". There's something for everyone, multiple ways to get involved, and you'll always be inspired. This Community Center building was erected in 1847 as the 2nd Congregational Church. For the past couple of decades, it has existed as the Cornerstone Church. There are repairs and maintenance that need to be addressed to keep its doors open.
Exciting news! We're launching a new Bible study series titled "Faith During Turbulent Times." Join us every Wednesday evening starting Jan 8, 2025 @7pm as we delve into the study of faith, surrender, and survival.

Our town of Chester has been the route 20 "Gateway of Pioneer Valley" for generations. Once a grand hub of actiivity serving all the surrounding Hilltowns of Berkshire County, Hampden County, And Hampshire Counity, Chester is perfectly positioned to host a community center that is focused on bringing fellowship, community programs, art, music, entertainment, education, pot luck dinners, coffee and comfort to all those who wish to build connection.
